Yesterday, we were treated to a scenic trip past Trial Island and up the coast of San Juan. Both areas are rich in wildlife as Trial Island is home to the Trial Islands Ecological Reserve and San Juan is a popular hang out for both resident and transient orcas! Spoiled with sunshine, seals and bountiful bald eagles, we had a great day out on the water! The fun will continue straight through the weekend with trips going out on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Friday, April 8th, 2011It seems that Mother Nature was ready to give us a break from all of the rain, leaving us with perfect sunny weather just right for a zodiac trip! We set out from Victoria’s Inner Harbour this afternoon ready to enjoy the sunshine and wonderful west coast wildlife. With plenty of sea lions at race rocks and bald eagles along the shoreline, it was clear that the local marine wildlife was enjoying the sunshine as much as we were! Fingers crossed this weather sticks around!
