Bald Eagle in the Harbour

January 30th, 2012

This morning I arrived at the office bright and early to see, for the third time in the last 2 weeks, a juvenile Bald Eagle soaring over Victoria’s Inner Harbour. British Columbia has the second highest concentration of Bald Eagles in the world, after Alaska. So yes it is very common to see these guys soaring around. But it is not as usual to see them soaring quite low over our dock :-) Very cool stuff!
